About us

The SF Junk Journal Club is a creative community for paper lovers, memory keepers, and curious crafters. We host monthly themed meetups around San Francisco and throughout the Bay Area where folks can gather, collage, swap supplies, and connect over the joy of crafting. Whether you're brand new or a seasoned crafter, you're always welcome at our table.

How we got started

Like every girl, we had started by doom-scrolling on TikTok and came across a page based in Orange County called @diy_craftclub. We had commented that we wished we had something like this in SF. The founder Gloria, told us to just do it! Now here we are proving that SF is not dead!

What we do

The San Francisco Junk Journal Club hosts two to three gatherings each month designed to bring creative people together. Our Yap and Craft meetups are casual hangouts where you can bring any project you are working on, relax, and connect with other crafters. In addition to these smaller gatherings, we host larger themed events that feature vendors, creative stations, and a full journaling experience. Past themes have included Sanrio, Animal Crossing, and other nostalgic inspirations that celebrate creativity and help you reconnect with your inner child. Our main events typically welcome between 75 and 100 attendees and have featured collaborations with brands such as Zebra Pen USA, King Jim Stationery, and Leuchtturm1917.
